Trigger Point Therapy:
Trigger Points are points in a muscle where the muscle cannot contract properly, also known as knots. Trigger Point Therapy uses pressure to release those knots.
Trigger Point Therapy goes hand in hand with Myofascial Release.
Myofascial Release:
Fascia is a broad connective tissue that surrounds structures inside your body. Like muscles, fascia also gets stiff and sticks to itself. Myofascial Release uses specific techniques to stretch and release adhesions (also known as knots). MFR improves range of motion, pain, and more.
Pregnancy Massage:
Pregnancy massage focuses on decreasing discomforts of pregnancy, reducing stress, and providing nurturing and social contact.
Specific pillows and side-lying postures are used to prevent putting pressure on the abdomen.
Benefits: increased circulation, pain reduction, assist with relaxation/sleep, and body awareness.
Sports Massage:
Sports massage uses a variety of massage techniques to help athletes maintain/improve range of motion, muscle flexibility, and help the athlete achieve maximum potential before and event, and a quick recovery afterwards.
Benefits: Increases flow of circulatory fluids & lymph, reduces muscle soreness and hypertonicity of muscles, quicker and more complete recovery from injury, and reduces pain and promotes relaxation.
